Ben teaches classical, acoustic, and electric guitar, electric bass, mandolin, ukulele, and piano lessons, and is also an adjunct professor at Westchester Community College, where he teaches courses on classical music history, the guitar, rock music, and music theory. Ben has a Master Certificate in Guitar from Berklee College of Music, a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from Nyack College, a Master of Arts in Music Theory from Hunter College – CUNY, and over a decade of performance and teaching experience. Ben greatly enjoys sharing his love of music through teaching, and believes that learning music should be fun, engaging, and personally fulfilling. As a result, Ben utilizes a student-centered approach that focuses on the unique needs and abilities of each student while also providing a strong foundation in traditional methods.
